Dixie and her Stretches

Dixie is, without a doubt, the most perfect dog in the known universe. That is a given.

She is sweet, smart, gorgeous, and, most importantly, a mutt with that obscene chow tongue.

This picture was taken Sunday morning, as the lady in question slowly decided to get up. She spent a good ten hours in one spot on that couch. Our couch is so comfortable, I know what she went through. That doesn't excuse her constant thievery of my spot on the couch, though.

That is an adorable picture.

Thanks, but I didn't take it, my sister did. I was just sitting next to her, laughing my ass off at the flying legs.

Right now, the queen is on the couch. I had to clear her a spot, because the short couch wasn't good enough for her.

You always know when a dog is doing serious sleeping because her legs are straight up in the air.

I have a little armchair in my bedroom that is just big enough to contain my dog Molly. In the middle of the night, when she's in her deepest sleep, she's in that chair flat on her back with all four legs sticking straight up.

Wickett, when he's not upside down over the back of the couch, spineless, sleeps with one back leg lifted, as if to say, look at this stuff, I'm the man.

It's a trip.

Right now, Wickett is oh so upside down. I'm worried he will fall off. But not too...

Oh! He's upside down, but he's trying to lift the back leg.

Dogs!
